Bet-Jesimot — ciudad al este del Jordán en territorio de Moab/Rubén, cerca del mar Muerto
Nombre de lugar que significa «casa de los páramos», designando una ciudad al este del río Jordán en la llanura moabita, cerca del extremo norte del mar Muerto. Israel acampó allí al final de la travesía por el desierto (Nm 33:49), y aparece entre los límites territoriales del reino amorreo (Jos 12:3) y en la herencia tribal de Rubén (Jos 13:20). Ezequiel 25:9 la menciona entre «la gloria de la tierra» que sería expuesta a los invasores. Comúnmente se identifica con la moderna es-Suweimeh.
