El griego στόμα se refiere a la boca como organo fisico y, por extension natural, al habla y el testimonio que de ella proceden. Jesus declara que lo que contamina al hombre sale de la boca, no lo que entra en ella (Mateo 15:11), haciendo de στόμα el lugar de la autorrevelacion moral. La frase 'de la boca de los ninos' (Mateo 21:16, citando Salmo 8:2) muestra el salto metonimico del organo a la palabra. En Apocalipsis, una espada aguda sale de la boca de Cristo (Apocalipsis 1:16), imagen donde el organo fisico y la palabra divina se fusionan. La traduccion es directa — en espanol boca — pero los usos teologicos trascienden con mucho lo anatomico.
