call out to/address
1. call out to/address To call out to, address, or speak to someone directly, whether summoning them or delivering a message. Used of children calling out to one another in the marketplace (Matt 11:16; Luke 7:32), of Jesus calling his disciples to himself (Luke 6:13), of Jesus calling out to a woman he healed (Luke 13:12), of Pilate addressing the crowd about Jesus (Luke 23:20), of Paul addressing the people in Hebrew/Aramaic (Acts 21:40, 22:2). All multilingual glosses converge: call-out/ansprechen/appeler/llamar/부르다/קָרָא/نَادَى. Purely inflectional variation across all five clusters.
