Medio, en medio -- el centro o interior de un espacio, grupo o situación; uso espacial, social y temporal.
Μέσος es el adjetivo griego que significa 'medio' o 'en medio', empleado sustantivadamente con el artículo para indicar el punto central de un lugar, reunión o circunstancia. Jesús envía a sus discípulos «como ovejas en medio de lobos» (Mt 10:16), coloca a un niño «en medio» de los Doce (Mt 18:2) y promete estar presente «donde dos o tres están congregados», literalmente «en medio de ellos» (Mt 18:20). El término marca también puntos medios temporales («a mediados de la fiesta», Jn 7:14) y sirve en momentos narrativos dramáticos como Pablo de pie «en medio del Areópago» (Hch 17:22).
