Designa una porción que ha sido repartida o que pertenece a alguien por derecho. María escogió la buena 'parte' (Lucas 10:42); los creyentes participan de la 'herencia' de los santos en la luz (Colosenses 1:12). También puede significar un distrito geográfico, como en Hechos 16:12, donde se describe a Filipos como ciudad principal de aquel 'distrito' de Macedonia. Pablo pregunta qué 'parte' tiene el creyente con el incrédulo (2 Corintios 6:15), extendiendo el término al ámbito de la comunión relacional.
