N-ANP  |  4× in 1 sense
Oracle; a divine utterance or saying, especially the collected revelations of God entrusted to Israel.
Logion (diminutive of logos) denotes a divine saying or oracle -- a word that carries the weight of God's own speech. In the NT it always appears in the plural (logia), referring to the body of God's revelations. Stephen speaks of Moses receiving 'living oracles' at Sinai (Acts 7:38); Paul affirms that the Jews were entrusted with 'the oracles of God' (Rom 3:2). The author of Hebrews chides readers who still need instruction in the basic oracles (Heb 5:12), and Peter urges that anyone who speaks should do so as one delivering God's oracles (1 Pet 4:11).

Senses
1. sense 1 A divine utterance or collected body of God's spoken revelations. In Acts 7:38 Stephen describes Moses receiving 'living oracles' on Sinai -- words pulsing with divine authority. Rom 3:2 names these oracles as Israel's great privilege. Heb 5:12 treats them as foundational teaching, and 1 Pet 4:11 sets them as the standard for Christian speech. French 'oracle' and Spanish 'oráculos' preserve the sacred-pronouncement sense, while German 'Gaben' (gifts) captures the entrusted-treasure dimension.
