Used of the new covenant (Luke 22:20; Heb 8:13), new commandment (John 13:34), new creation (2 Cor 5:17; Gal 6:15; Rev 21:1,5), new wine in new wineskins (Matt 9:17; Mark 2:21-22; Luke 5:36-38), new tomb (Matt 27:60; John 19:41), new tongues (Mark 16:17), new teaching (Mark 1:27; Acts 17:19), new name (Rev 2:17, 3:12), new song (Rev 5:9, 14:3), new heaven and new earth (Rev 21:1), new Jerusalem (Rev 3:12, 21:2), and the comparative form καινότερον 'something newer' (Acts 17:21).
