Dr§ 178 n.; Assyrian maḫû = crush, oppress, DlHWB 396);— Qal Pf. 3 ms. consec., וּמָחָה עַל־כֶּתֶף וגו׳ Nu 34:11 (P) and the border shall strike upon (reach unto) the shoulder of the sea of Chinnereth (> Di al. der. from I. מָחָה rub along by, brush past, skirt).
