† [תָּכַן] vb. regulate, measure, estimate (cf. Aramaic Pa. תַּכֵּן (rare) prepare (= הֵכִין, כּוֹנֵן); according to RySyn. d. Wahren u. Guten 33 a secondary √ from כון);— Qal Pt. estimate, fig.: וְתֹכֵן רוּחוֹת י׳ Pr 16:2, so (לִבּוֹת) 21:2; 24:12. Niph. 1. Pf. 3 pl. נִתְכְּנוּ עֲלִלוֹת [לוֹ] וְלֹא 1 S 2:3 by him (י׳) are actions estimated. 2.
