Adverbio con dos aplicaciones temporales distintas. En el uso clásico significaba «exactamente» o «justo» al referirse a cantidades: noventa días exactos. También podía significar «justo lo contrario» en afirmaciones contrastantes. En el Nuevo Testamento (escrito propiamente como dos palabras, ἀπ' ἄρτι) adquiere un sentido temporal: «desde ahora» o «en adelante», marcando un punto de transición a partir del cual algo comienza o cambia. Este sentido temporal también puede significar «ahora mismo» o «incluso ahora», refiriéndose al momento presente inmediato.
