† II. [יָמַן] vb.denom. Hiph. go to or choose the right, use the right hand;—Impf. 1. s. coh. וְאֵימִ֫נָה Gn 13:9 (J) then I will go to the right; 2 mpl. (as from [אמן]) תַּאֲמִינוּ Is 30:21, fig. of turning aside from right course of life (both ‖ השׂמאיל); Inf. cstr. in phr. אִם־אִשׁ לְהֵמִין וּלְהַשְׂמִיל מִכֹּל אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר אֲדֹנִי הַמֶּלֶךְ 2 S 14:19 it is surely impossible to turn to the right or to the left, etc.; Imv. fs. הֵימִ֫ינִי Ez 21:21 go to the right!
