Always occurs with preposition le- (to/for/as), indicating the condition into which the subject is cast. Attested in Deuteronomy's covenant curses (Deut 28:25), Jeremiah's repeated judgment formulae (Jer 15:4; 24:9; 24:17; 29:18; 34:17), and Ezekiel's oracle against Tyre (Ezek 23:46).
