Πακατιανή G3818
Pacatiana, western district of Phrygia province (4th-century AD administrative division)
Πακατιανή was the western portion of the Roman province of Phrygia as reorganized in the 4th century AD. The name derives from Latin 'pacatus' (peaceful, pacified). It appears in the Received Text's subscription to 1 Timothy, though such subscriptions are later scribal additions reflecting the routes of Pauline letters rather than original text. The region included important early Christian communities.
