Pf. 3 ms. consec. וְשִׁעֲשַׁע Is 11:8 the suckling shall sport on (עַל) the cobra’s hole; 1 s. שִׁעֲשָׁ֑עְתִּי ψ 119:70 I take delight in thy law (acc.; but? read שַׁעֲשֻׁעָ֑י, v 77); Impf. transit. 3 mpl. יְשַׁעַשְׁעוּ ψ 94:19 thy consolations delight my soul (acc.). † II. [פַּ֫חַד] n.[m.] thigh (prob. loan-word (through Aramaic, otherwise ذ = ז) from Arabic فَخِذٌ thigh and (cf. WeGGN, 1893, 479) sub-tribe, Palm. פחד tribe);—גִּידֵי פַחְדּוֹ Jb 40:17 Kt the sinews of his thigh (Qr du. פַחֲדָיו), of hippopotamus.

† תְּכוּנָה n.f. arrangement, preparation, fixed place;— 1. arrangement, disposition תְּכוּנָתוֹ Ez 43:11, i.e. the arrangement of the house (del. Co with 𝔊 codd.) 2. preparation, וְאֵין קַצֶה לַתְּכוּנָה Na 2:10 and no end to the preparation (i.e. things prepared, supply, store). 3. fixed place, i.e. dwelling-place, of God (= מָכוֹן) תְּכוּנָתוֹ Jb 23:3.
